How we got started
Hi, I'm Kelly Tanaka. After attending a girl-powered workshop I was so inspired to take the problem of lack of STEAM in our school and do something about it. This is Greene's first robotics team ever! Due to the lock down we have been meeting 2-3 times a week to work on our various projects!
STEAM learning is very important because these five disciplines are used in everyday activities. They promote problem solving, and creative and analytical thinking. Many of the jobs that effect our economy include STEAM subjects
The VEX is a robotics competition for elementary through university students.The VEX Robotics World Championship, run by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation is the largest robotics competition in the world.
We really need your sponsor ship whether its in food, money, or parts. We need YOU to make our competition season sucessful

VEX Robotics Competition Change Up is played on a 12'x12' square field configured as seen above. The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by placing Balls in Goals, and Connecting Rows.
